We are often asked "What is the cut off date for placing an order for the holidays?" The best way we have to answer that is
we do not have a cut off date per se. We will continue to take orders until our baking capacity is reached.
Capacity (C) for any given period of time is based on the number of days in the period (dp) times the number of rolls per day (rpd) we are able to bake: C = dp x rpd. Once our capacity is reached we will post a notice on the website indicating the anticipated shipping lead time for orders placed on or after that day is longer than average.
Based on past years experiences and the current trend in order activity it would not hurt to order in late September or early October for November and/or December shipment or pick up. During the check out process there is a pop up calendar that will show all available shipping dates.
When ordering online your credit card will be charged at the time you place the order--not when shipped.
If ordering by telephone, let us know when you call what date you would like your order to ship. With telephone orders your credit card will not be charged until your order is prepared to ship.
We hope this helps you to determine when to place your holiday orders in order to be shipped in time for the holidays.
