"It has grown every year," said Marie. "I have never had a year where I can say it wasn't as good as last year."
Tim and Marie make the rolls year round for any occasion, with their peak season falling during the holidays and running through Easter.
"During peak season, it is around the clock — we take little naps," said Marie.
"From right after Halloween, it runs 24/7," Tim said.
They started out making strictly nut rolls, but the menu expanded along with their customer base. "Somebody would inspire me," said Marie, adding that customers would make suggestions for flavors.
The rolls include nut, poppy seed, apricot, raspberry, prune, nut roll with raisins, raspberry walnut, raspberry walnut swirl, iced raspberry and iced pineapple cream cheese.
During their off season, the pair bake rolls about three days a week. They do private label baking and their nut and poppy seed rolls are sold in a national catalog. Because of confidentiality agreements with the catalog, Tim said they cannot disclose the name.
Their rolls have been shipped to Iraq, Kuwait, the Virgin Islands, all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Canada.
