Marie is always more than willing to try to accomodate her customer's special requests. So it was no surprise she attempted such an accomodation when she was asked if she could make a raspberry roll like her apricot roll. Her efforts to produce a roll in a raspberry flavor with the same consistency and quality of the apricot roll just did not meet Marie's standards of quality. But the customer demand for a raspberry roll had already been established. We needed a roll to meet that demand.
Raspberrys and Walnuts go great together in a salad, why not a roll? So Marie mixed her signature walnut nut roll filling, the raspberry filling and the Raspberry Walnut Roll was the result. With just the right combination of walnut butter and raspberry filling this roll satisfies both the fruit and nut lover.
